NEPA / Section 106 FINAL Scoping Public Meeting
On Tuesday, February 19, 2013, HANO and the City will hold its third and final public information meeting to discuss design and construction activities under evaluation for the Iberville Housing Development. The purpose of this meeting is to engage the general public, local businesses, associations, affected governmental agencies and other interested parties to solicit relevant input and provide timely information regarding the design and construction related to the development of the site. As such, information regarding evaluation of environmental and cultural resource areas, as well as possible impacts to historic properties at the site, will be made available for public comment.
The public meeting will begin with an informal open house from 6:30 – 7:00 pm to allow interested parties to view proposed alternative design scenarios and talk directly to project representatives. At 7:00 pm, HANO, the City and their design team will give a presentation, after which the audience will have an opportunity to ask questions and provide written or oral comments.
